The service

Synupsis offers season-by-season recaps of TV shows, along with tracking of the episodes you watched and comments per episode.

Recaps are generated by artificial intelligence from published summaries, checked automatically, then improved through users’ suggestions. They may still contain errors or omissions: they do not replace watching the show.

Synupsis is not affiliated with any network, platform or production company. Show information comes from Trakt, TMDB and TVmaze.

Your account

• You provide a valid email address and keep your password secret.
• Your username must not impersonate anyone or be offensive.
• You are responsible for what is done from your account.

Tickets and points

A ticket unlocks the recap of a season, which then becomes available to everyone. The points earned when other people watch that recap give you new tickets.

Tickets and points have no monetary value: they cannot be bought, sold or exchanged. Their rules may change.

Comments and suggestions

You remain responsible for what you post. You may not post:

• offensive, hateful, harassing or illegal content;
• spoilers that are not marked as such;
• advertising, misleading links or mass-repeated content;
• content you do not own without the right to share it.

Moderation

Comments and suggestions may be hidden or deleted if they break these rules, notably after a report. In case of repeated abuse, an account may be suspended or deleted.

To report content, use the “…” menu of the comment or write to contact@synupsis.com.

Use of your contributions

By posting a comment or a suggestion, you allow Synupsis to show it on the site and, for a suggestion, to use it to correct or enrich a recap. This permission is free and lasts as long as the content stays online.

Intellectual property

The Synupsis name, its logo and the site itself belong to their publisher.

Show titles, posters, images and characters belong to their rights holders. They are displayed only to identify the shows.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Portraits and cast come from TVmaze, under the CC BY-SA licence.

Availability and liability

Synupsis is provided as is. We do our best to keep the site available and accurate, without being able to guarantee it: it may be interrupted for maintenance or change without notice.

Leaving

You can stop using Synupsis at any time and ask for your account to be deleted by writing to contact@synupsis.com.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change; the date at the top of the page shows the latest version. They are governed by French law.
